Friskus in the islands tour plan
Experience the beautiful archipelago in Fitjarøyane, and top trip to Ramsberget on the island of Fonno. The trip ends with a tasty fish soup outside at the visitor centre for Engesund Fish Farming
Duration: 4 to 6 hours
Difficulty: Long walk: Moderate/demanding - The walk to Ramsberget (6 hours)
Option 2: Moderate - round trip Ljokloven and Tussakloven (5 hours)
Content: Attendance and preparation for the boat trip on Fitjar, in the office building of Engesund Fish Farming. The boat trip goes to Fonno and takes approximately 5 minutes. The trip is fun, and along the way we have a few stops where they can hear about life in Fonno, for better and for worse, with something ugly and something serious. The first part of the trip goes on a path in the countryside, towards Ljokolven and Litlavatnet. Here, the track will be characterized by rocks and wet bog. At the end, it may be that we find the Tussakloven and take a short coffee break, before returning on option 1 the same way back to the boat. In option two, after Tussakloven, you will aim for the top of Ramsberget (148 m above sea level), and take in the wonderful view out to sea. Part of the trip back is on a farm road. Back in the boat, the journey continues to the viewing facility, where a hot and good fish soup is served and they are given a tour of the facility. The tour then returns to Fitjar. Dress appropriately for the weather, take good walking shoes (waterproof) and drinking water for the trip.
Price: NOK 549 for a short tour (4 hours), NOK 599 for a longer tour
Timing: October - March.
Places: Minimum 5 participants. Groups of maximum 34 people.
