Record year with guests
Never before have we had so many guests at our viewing center!
- I want to thank everyone who has visited us this year.
On Sunday, October 22, we finally reached 3000 guests, which has been a goal for a long time. We have now had 3027 guests so far this year. The number of visitors shows that many people appreciate our viewing center, which we are very happy about.
A display license is a special permit from the Directorate of Fisheries, where a license is granted to produce a certain amount of fish. This is subject to the condition that the public can come and see and learn about the Norwegian aquaculture industry. "I see increasing knowledge about the aquaculture industry as particularly important. It is therefore important to develop and make itself attractive to visitors.
We are open every day of the year to welcome guests who want to visit us, from one person to large groups. Increasing the number of visitors is something we work on every day. This involves everything from arranging different events, offering packages, tourism and teaching. We also work a lot with marketing.
It's important to us that everyone who wants to has the opportunity to visit us. That's why we have distributed thousands of free tickets through gift cards or vouchers. In addition to regular guided tours, this year we have held several events at the visitor center - such as sushi courses, Easter mysteries, book launches, etc. We have had many parties, walks and boat trips in the islands combined with guided tours at the visitor center.
At the viewing center, we work actively to ensure that everyone who visits us has a good and unique experience with us. We tailor programs according to your wishes and needs. A visit with us lasts a minimum of 2 hours. We receive a lot of positive feedback on the work we do, and we want to keep this up.
