We are looking for seasonal employees for our kitchen in the period June 19th - August 17th.
Engesund Visningssenter is a modern experience center for aquaculture. The center's business is the operation of an experience center with guided tours, a café on our fleet, tourist information and reception in central Fitjar. Engesund Visningssenter is located in the Fitjarøyane, with a land base in the center of Fitjar, 10 minutes from the E39 at the Sandvikvåg ferry pier.
Our café is located on Visningsflåten, which is located in the Fitjarøyane Islands near Selbjørnsfjorden. The café focuses on local quality ingredients, with an emphasis on seafood. People can come here by their own boat or on our regular boat departures from Fitjar center. The job mainly consists of preparing and serving food. Cleaning and washing as well as other work tasks as needed are included in the position.
The position will require weekend work. There is an 8 hour workday, with working hours between 09:00 and 19:00. We prioritize those who can work the entire season.
We are looking for you as
- Is service-oriented, positive, accommodating, committed, responsible, willing to learn, accurate and fast
- Effective
- Experience in the kitchen and/or catering is desirable.
- Can work independently and in a team
- Contribute to good hygiene, and comply with hygienic routines, keep the premises tidy and clean
Job duties:
- Production of cold and hot food
- Cleaning and washing
- Work according to IK-mat routines
- General kitchen work
- Serving and checkout

Eligibility requirements:
- Minimum 18 years old
- Service-minded, quality-conscious and detail-oriented
- Preferably with a boating license.
